Homework help for everyone

All children should have the same possibilities to do good in school. We offer homework help for free and everyone is welcome. We have homework help in schools, libraries and in homes for children who have come to Sweden alone.

All children have the right to get through school, no matter what their situation is. Sometimes children need extra help with their homework. We believe that all children should have the same possibilities in life and be able to reach their goals. That is why we offer homework help for free and everyone is welcome.

We have homework groups in schools where students can come after school. Here they can do their homework in peace and quiet and get the help they need. We also have homework help at libraries and in homes for unaccompanied children.

More than just homework

The homework help is more than just grammar och mathematics. The homework group makes every student feel important and special.

The homework group also increases the participation among the students.

We have put together a training program for our volunteers, together with Sensus. The program teaches the volunteers about the homework groups and they also learn how they can support the students.

You can help – be a volunteer

As a homework volunteer you will get training and learn about the useful methods on how you can support the students you meet. If this sounds interesting, please contact your nearest local branch.

You can start a homework group if there is no one where you live. Contact our office and we will give you information on how to start one. The Swedish Red Cross is also doing homework help.
